Ford Mustang Race Car. Ok here we go..351C 4 bolt mains...steel crank..15.5.1 compression... roller cam and rockers, triple valve springs ..after market racing heads ..new high flow carb...new timing gears...new 250 watt one wire alternator to run cooling fans... New 4 row aluminum radiator ..new hoses...new heavy duty hose clamps..new Tachometer..new gages ie water temp..oil pressure... amp...Heavy steel blow shield, Rail Clutches... 10 Qt oil pan...T5 4 speed trans.....vertigate shifter ..Line Lock... ok car...new frame sub rails..new ladder bars..new brakes all the way around..as in front..new rotor..caliper ,pads...dust sheild...bearings And hose...rear..new wheel cylinder new bearing..seal new brake kit...new shoes... new lines across rear..new rear hose...has new master cylinder..need lines run...all in car...new rims..new tires on front..new floor pan drivers side..new rear rims in box..needs slicks..this car in the 1980s ran 10 flat in 1/4 mile..would run into 9s but i wanted to stay in my bracket..car is in need of body work and paint there is some more welding needed to finish rear... is set up for 5 link..that's the way i was heading with it....rear is 9" 4.86 Spool...new wheel bearings and seals...when you start this car the windows in your house shake..the neighbors all come out to see it run...this car needs much more work but also alots done...its my baby..only selling because i need money for home purchase..im keeping the trailer that car is on..dont ask ..motors around 850 hp runs on cam 2 or better ...this is NOT a street driver car has never be registered ..no title ..bill of sale..im sure you can get a title but its a race car...dont need one..oh and its a Q car..in a Hardtop Coupe ..makes the car kinda rare...no hood..trunk lid is new as is front and right side of engine bay..battery ate it all...battery now in trunk pictures are as i worked along..not totally up to date..car has its front end put back on..lights grill..so on...i have video of it running..may upload to to my youtube account..will post link when i do..its very loud,, you will have to copy and paste this link in your browser https://youtu.be/WNeijULNO-8 This car would make a good father son project ..or if your into racing this could be ready for next season with little work..no where in this day could you build this caliber of race car for the money this is offered at...car itself is collectible, any questions are welcome..car has been in my family since 1975..we bought it machine work done ..all parts bought and never put together. Bought from a family friend who happened to own Yates Auto...he bought car new and stripped it bare..to turn it into race car...so all part are top of the line..and i personally put it together "i am a mechanic" so cars entire life has been a race car all miles on car were from towing to the 3 tracks in my area 60 to 100 miles away..motor has less then 30 hours...car has to much torque, broke axels, tail shaft of tranny..flipped rear... rear was facing back of car... ..even twisted the distributor shaft off...twisted off driveshaft....pops spark plugs...got put in barn after i broke both axels ...my dad and i were partners in car..after breaking it so much him and i had a falling out....got car three years ago. Willed to me from my dad. ive been working on it since..as ive said..its my baby...but i really need the money to buy land i want..in 1970s money it cost more then starting bid to build the motor that's in this car..im the only one who has even driven this car..and the only one to even work on it..if i added all that new and value of drive train ..no way does full price cover what i have in it ..and again..car is RARE its a Hardtop coupe with Q code..came CJ..351C 4 br carb..4 speed..duel exhaust hood did have ram air..... hood was drilled to be lightened and pretty much rusted away..if you see white residue on car in some pictures its because the entire car was treated with a chemical that turns red oxide into black oxide to halt any more rusting to car ..ive kept car dry since i got it..went out and started yesterday..god i love the smell of cam 2 burning..love the sound of this car!!..car has 3 gallon moon tank...one run...new battery and car length cables new Steel trunk mounted battery box..new fire wall fused panel ..
