    DESCRIPTION: This auction is for an old hammer that looks to be forged with a hot stamp name of John Parsons. My guess is that it is blacksmith made from the 1800's. The handle appears to be original and hand made. It has been whittled on over the years I know not why. The hammer is as found. Has some like surface rust here and there. I am sure it will clean up nicely but I will leave all of that to the new owner. A nice old relic that I am offering for your collection with NO RESERVE. Good Lick Bidding!
