Nice BL Marder Saddle Tack Hammer Peen Face 7/16" - USA
Vintage specialty hammer by BL Marder.  Good looking hammer with thin neck handle, easy to control. Head face diameter is 7/16" with flat blade end measuring 9/16" wide. Head length at 6 11/16" and handle is 11 1/4". H
ead hasn't been cleaned or treated in any way since acquiring this hammer from a recent estate - very nice condition. Handle has some separation between plys at the but end and hairline cracks at the head. Not ready to fall apart but won't maintain forever and sends some vibration to the hand. A NOS Craftsman handle will be included with the hammer for a DIY repair.
Very good used condition.
No damage or cosmetic defects, other than handle described above. Natural patina on head hasn't been altered.
