In my E-bay Store you will also find the other individual Bellows listings for all the Mercruiser drive configurations including Type 1, Alpha One Generation One, Alpha One Generation Two & Bravo! So you don’t have to wait for this auction to end you can just go into my eBay store and find the correct bellows set for you!
There are cheaper bellows out there that do not have the same quality and there is a heavy duty bellows out there that cost a lot more money. The simple truth is bellows should be changed every 5 years and none of the 3 grades of bellows will last more than the 5 year time limit with out fatigue.
This is a word to the wise; Shift cables should also be changed every 5 years while you have the drive off the boat doing the bellows. Remember you may think the shift cable is good and working properly but the cables wear on the inside where you can’t see it. And if you don’t change the shift cable with the shift cable bellows you will have the extra labor of doing the shift cable before the change of the second set of bellows because the cable will not last the 10 years. New Shift cables are including shipping and it is not worth the labor of replacing it separately.
I have had a lot of questions on the brand name of these bellows sets. These are a mixture of various brand names. I cannot list the brand names because E-bay considers it brand name spamming and automatically removes the listings. I buy these from multiple suppliers in bulk to make up the sets. This is where I protect you the consumer. I have noticed no matter what sets I would buy there would be one thing I would not like about them. For instance stainless steel bellows clamps would be made out of 640 stainless steel and they would rust and break. Or the shift cable bellows’ rubber would be too thin walled. Or the drive shaft bellows would either be too thick or too thin or allow it to stretch out of proportion or prematurely crack.
Oh here is  a tip; Never store your boat with outdrive in up position as it stretches out the bellows and allows the hydraulic ram seals to dry and freeze up so they wont close.

It is easier to find items in my store if you click sellers ebay store and then to the left click the category that you need. Alpha One Generation One, Alpha One Generation Two, Bravo, Type 1, Type 2, pre Alpha or TRS! Or because ebay has ranked me so highly you can just search the web for my products or my ebay store name mikesalphas to find everything I offer on ebay. Ebay keeps making it easier!
    Here is another tip!
These are Alpha One Generation One and there is other older styles like pre-alpha and type 1. There is confusion out there about pre-alphas and most people including Mercury and Mercruiser tech’s think that anything older than 1983 is pre-alpha because it pre-dates Alpha One Generation One. This is not true. Pre-alphas started from 1976 to 1983 and type 1 or also called MC 1 were from 1963 to 1975. During these times from 1963 to 1983 there was also type 2, TRS & TR. The type 2, TRS & TR all had transmissions inside the boat and did not use a coned shaped shift cable bellows. If you need help to identify the bellows you need please don’t hesitate to message me
