Orig 1960-63 Vintage 8”Tiny Betsy McCall Doll Dress “RECESS” #8154

PLEASE READ! You are buying as is! Please ask any questions before bidding. I am not a dealer or a shop owner just a doll lover downsizing in retirement. This is the original recess dress for 8” Betsy McCall made in the Early 60s. I would say that this dress is in good condition. All seams and hems are intact except for a separation at the front neck line from the bias trim. It is small and not highly noticeable but it is there. Some fabric glue would probably do the trick to make it firm again. It could easily be left alone if used for display and not played with. It still has its original square snaps and they still work. The hem,could use a pressing as there is an area that is twisted. At first I thought it was sewn wrong but it’s just somehow been left to lay wrong. The coloring of the dress is slightly faded but good. It is still a very good original piece of the 60’s for Betsy McCall.
