Markings:
The ricasso is marked “1907” in a shield, “5 ‘22 / LITHGOW”, both sides of the ricasso show proof marks. The pommel is marked “A / 98057”. The guard, handle and sheath are both marked, please see photos.

Condition:
The steel blade and tip are sharp. The blade is in good shape, showing scattered minor scuffs and scratches. The blade is mostly polished bright, the grooves are blued. The wood handle shows moderate wear, showing small scrapes, compressions and is chipped. The sheath shows moderate wear. This bayonet and sheath are in Very Good overall condition. Please see the photographs for a better understanding of the condition.
